Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral or a Mental Health Care Plan?
You don’t need a referral to book a session with Adrienn; however, a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or psychiatrist can provide a Medicare rebate for eligible clients, reducing the out-of-pocket cost for each session.
–
What are the fees, and what rebate can I expect?
Adrienn’s session fee is $250. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, you can receive a Medicare rebate of $141 per session, reducing your out-of-pocket expense to $109. Full payment is required on the day of your session, and your Medicare rebate will be processed directly into your bank account.
–
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that sometimes, life gets in the way of scheduled appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments may incur a fee as filling appointments on short notice is difficult.
–
Do you provide emergency services?
Adrienn’s practice is not equipped to handle immediate crises or emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need urgent support, get in touch with Lifeline at 13 11 14, the Suicide Call Back Service at 1300 659 467, or present to your nearest hospital emergency department.
–
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is focused on understanding your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. Adrienn will explore what brought you to therapy, any previous experiences with treatment, and what outcomes you hope to achieve. This initial session also allows you to ask questions, discuss your expectations, and decide if Adrienn’s approach feels the right fit for you.
